Upcycling Couture Soirée – Fernanda Covarrubias at MFF 2024
As part of the PayPal Melbourne Fashion Festival 2024 - independent Programme -Fernanda Covarrubias hosted a series of Upcycling Couture Soirées inside her Melbourne atelier.
These intimate sessions invited guests to bring their unworn garments and rediscover them through Fernanda’s creative eye — learning how to transform forgotten pieces into something extraordinary. Guided by Fernanda herself, attendees experienced the magic of upcycling couture techniques, surrounded by laughter, bubbles, and inspiring conversations about fashion, sustainability, and personal style.
