HERENCIA Presented to Melbourne's Fashion Industry

Following its exclusive private launch at the Fernanda Covarrubias atelier, HERENCIA was officially presented to Melbourne's fashion and creative industry during an intimate Fashion Salon held at Bakehouse Studios, Richmond.

Bringing together designers, stylists, educators, creatives and industry professionals, the evening marked the next chapter in the journey of the collection. Guests were invited to experience HERENCIA through a runway presentation, followed by the opportunity to explore each garment up close, discovering the craftsmanship, intricate hand-finished details and the stories behind the collection.

Inspired by Fernanda Covarrubias' Mexican heritage, HERENCIA combines artisan-made embellishments from Zinacantán, Chiapas, with handcrafted embellishment techniques developed in her Melbourne atelier. Created using carefully sourced fabrics, including selected deadstock textiles, each garment reflects the brand's commitment to craftsmanship, individuality and wearable art.

The presentation celebrated not only the unveiling of a new collection, but also the importance of independent Australian fashion, artisan collaboration and contemporary craftsmanship.

With HERENCIA now officially launched, the collection is available to pre-order online, with additional designs continuing to be released over the coming weeks.
