HERENCIA Unveiled at Exclusive Atelier Launch

HERENCIA officially began its journey with two exclusive private launch events held at Fernanda Covarrubias' Melbourne atelier.

Clients were invited to experience the collection before its online release and prior to its presentation to Melbourne's fashion industry, enjoying an intimate Fashion Salon where they could discover the garments up close, explore the craftsmanship behind each piece and preview the collection in the space where it was created.

Inspired by Fernanda's Mexican heritage, HERENCIA combines artisan-made embellishments from Zinacantán, Chiapas, with handcrafted embellishment techniques developed in her Melbourne atelier. Created using carefully sourced fabrics, including selected deadstock textiles, the collection celebrates craftsmanship, individuality and wearable art through limited-edition, made-to-order garments.

The atelier launches marked the first opportunity to view and pre-order the collection, with several pieces receiving strong interest and selected designs selling out in their original fabric editions during the events.

Following the private client launches, HERENCIA has now entered its next chapter, with the collection officially available to pre-order online and continuing to be unveiled piece by piece over the coming weeks.
